Our team may use a variety of treatment modalities to provide the best possible recovery for your issue or injury.

Treatments may include manual therapy and joint manipulation, acupuncture, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, dry needling, thermotherapy (heat), taping, and in-clinic or at-home exercises to strengthen or stretch.

The team will discuss treatment recommendations, and you are encouraged to ask questions and actively participate in your recovery journey.

Physiotherapy is treatment to restore, maintain, and make the most of a patient’s mobility, function, and well-being. Physiotherapy helps through physical rehabilitation, injury prevention, and health and fitness. Physiotherapists get you involved in your own recovery.

Acupuncture is a technique in which sterile, single-use needles are inserted into the skin. The needles may be manipulated manually or stimulated with small electrical currents (electroacupuncture). Acupuncture has been in use in some form for at least 2,500 years.

back pain

Manual Therapy

Manual therapy for joints and tissue includes manipulation and mobilization to reduce pain, increase range of motion, increase blood flow, and reduce inflammation.

Vestibular Therapy

Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy or VRT is used to treat and improve the symptoms caused by vestibular disorders. It may involve manual head manoeuvres and prescribed exercises designed to reduce vertigo and dizziness, visual issues, or imbalance and falls.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is use to treat for pain and movement issues associated with myofascial trigger points. With this technique, thin needles are inserted into or near trigger points to stimulate your muscles, causing them to contract or twitch.

ultrasound therapy

Ultrasound therapy is used to treat soft tissue injuries such as muscle tears or ligament sprains, using a painless application of penetrating ultrasound waves.
